Our Vision

We at WOINEMER have the vision to always be and remain authentic and innovative.

To achieve this, we want to consistently work on offering our customers high-quality, contemporary, innovative WOINEMER products at all times. We continuously promote the development of WOINEMER innovations to adapt and expand our product range to meet our customers’ needs. At the same time, we place the greatest emphasis on consistently excellent production of our classic premium beers.

Our mission is to be an innovative brewery manufactory.

We pursue with the greatest passion the mission to be one of the most authentic breweries through the high-quality production of our classic beers, and an innovative brewery manufactory with our exclusive product expansions. We aspire to turn our beers into a treat for all the senses with the greatest effort and the finest raw materials. This begins with the selection of the finest ingredients, continues with gentle production, and ends with bottling.

The WOINEMER Hausbrauerei

We stand for authentic, independent brewing craft and exclusive beer enjoyment. In our brewery manufactory in Weinheim on the Bergstrasse, we have been ensuring for many years that first-class beers (and spirits) are created from the finest raw materials, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative ideas.

Beers that are as they should be: perfectly crafted and with unique flavor.

Development of Our Brewery Manufactory

2000 to present.

2000

Bottling in traditional swing-top bottles – Woinemer beer is now also available in regional retail – the Plob brand was born

2009

1st Woinemer raft trip – followed by 2013 and 2017

31.10.2010

Premiere of the Woinemer Lokalrunde – the 1st political beer tapping with "in-house" cabaret ensemble plays in the sold-out brewery cellar – followed by 10 more years

2015

Now also gin from our own distillery: multiple-distilled classic London Dry Gin

Construction of a fermentation lounge in the brewery courtyard with 2 open fermentation vats – the fermentation process can now be experienced live

2019

Investment in a new modern brewhouse – focus on energy efficiency

2020

Conversion of the "Old Brewhouse" into a new guest area with sky sports bar

Investment in a small in-house bottling facility

bierzeit & ALLAHOPF new in the portfolio – from now on all seasonal beers and craft beers can be freshly bottled

House History

Built as an ice cellar & cooling vessel as part of the brewery reconstruction by the Valentin Metz & Sons family

1899

The family business dissolved – the property passed into the possession of the Philipp Meiser wine merchant

1917

Acquisition of the property by the Philipp Wilhelm Rick family

1979 – 1986

Rental of the building to the Count von Berckheim Castle Winery

from 1986

Continuation of the tradition as a brewery site through the founding of the Woinemer Hausbrauerei

1986 – 1998

Operated by Gasthaus Brauerei GmbH

from April 1998

Takeover by Hardt & Andreas OHG

2015

Acquisition of the property Friedrichstrasse 23 and 25 (formerly Sonnenapotheke, now parking lot) by Hardt & Andreas OHG (Woinemer Hausbrauerei)
